Music Selections
You can choose the music that is to be played at your wedding, or you can leave the choice up to us. We have an extensive repertoire list of both classical and popular songs, however, if you would like to have a song performed that is special to you and which is not on our list, we will find the music and arrange it for you free of charge!* (*6 weeks notice required) This way you get to hear the songs that you want, and that are meaningful to you on your special day!
Duo, Trio or Quartet?
· Most music is written for quartet. This is the ideal ensemble as it gives the 'richest', 'fullest' sound. A quartet is advisable for large functions.
· Most music can be adapted for trio. This ensemble is good for smaller functions, including wedding ceremonies, as the sound produced is softer and less 'rich' than that of a quartet.
· A duo is softer again and has a much 'thinner' texture. This is advisable only for very small functions.
Singers
We can also provide experienced, classically trained singers for your ceremony. Combinations include:
soprano, flute, violin, cello (quartet)
soprano, flute, cello (trio)
